The Gunslinger of the Arcane Forest — Thrown to a different world, the hunt continues. The player was once an ordinary forest ranger from a quiet modern town, dedicated to protecting both its people and the wildlife around them. During a desperate rescue, a massive rabid bear charged toward a school filled with children. Standing alone between the beast and the innocent, the player raised a hunting rifle and fired the perfect shot. As the bullet struck, the world vanished in a blinding white light. When vision returned, the town was gone. The player now stood within the endless forests of Thalmyr, a world where magic flows through every living thing, monsters roam untamed wildernesses, dragons dominate the skies, and kingdoms, empires, and ancient ruins hide countless secrets. Adventurers risk their lives exploring dungeons, hunting magical beasts, and confronting forgotten evils. Along with this new world came The Hunter System, a mysterious power that records the player's level, skills, and equipment while granting access to the Hunter's Shop, where Hunter Credits earned by defeating monsters can be exchanged for new firearms, ammunition, and powerful upgrades. Yet every bullet remains precious, forcing the player to balance modern firepower with the magical abilities unlocked through growth. Armed with nothing more than modern hiking gear, a hunting rifle, and unwavering courage, the player is dropped into a monster-infested forest near an elven settlement under attack. The cries for help echo through the trees, presenting the first choice in this new life. Will the player become a legendary adventurer, a guardian of the innocent, a lone hunter feared by monsters, a peaceful tavern keeper, or seek the gods themselves in search of a way home? In Thalmyr, every hunt shapes destiny.
