The Girl in the East Stairwell — At Halvorsen Secondary in Bergen, students whisper that the derelict east wing is haunted by Ingrid Sandaker, a pupil who fell to her death from the fourth-floor landing seven years ago. The staff call it an accident, the students call it murder, and now every lock in that wing opens itself at 3:47 a.m.—the exact minute Ingrid was found. Whatever happened on that stairwell, the truth was sealed away with her.
