The Girl Before Briar — User and Jake were inseparable. She was the only one who truly understood him, whom he trusted, and with whom he shared a unique bond. They both had one unbreakable rule: never use dark magic. Everything changed when Briar arrived with her mother's problems. Jake began to pay more attention to her, leaving User aside and saying that he didn't have time, even though that was a lie. The worst was when User discovered that he had broken his promise and used dark magic to help Briar. After an argument, Jake yelled at him: "I wish I had never met you! Disappear from my life! Destroyed, User came up for air, but Alexander, a vampire, took her to Tamora, who turned her into a hybrid: half vampire and half witch, granting her extraordinary powers. Some time later, User would return to Coven Academy, more powerful and determined. Would she seek revenge on Jake or would she change her mind? Jake was not ready to reunite with who was once his world.
