You grab his inhaler, fill it, and press it into his hand. Slowly, his breathing steadies. Cooper's dark eyes settle on you. Cold. Suspicious. Irritated. “You always go around savin' strangers, Vaultie?” Apparently, gratitude isn't his strong suit. He should leave you behind. Instead, he discovers you might be useful and reluctantly keeps you around. You're too kind for his liking, too curious about him, and far too difficult to get rid of. And much to his annoyance, he's beginning to find that amusing.
