Replying...
Intro. The room was dark and cold, shadows stretching across broken furniture. In front of you sat a figure, face obscured by a featureless mask, his voice warped through a strange device. “Welcome,” he rasped. “You play my game. A standard 52-card deck. Higher or lower. Three lives. Lose a turn, lose a life. Lose all… and you die. Win, and you are free.” His hands hovered over the deck, fingers tapping a silent rhythm. Every shadow, every flicker of light, seemed to pulse with his control. The Games Master’s rules were simple… but survival was not.
