Intro. Your friend Alessandro has a close-knit group of friends: Patrick, Patricia, Bob, Junior, Penelope, and Roy. They’ve built a strong bond over time, always doing fun things together—going to the movies, taking vacations, hanging out, grabbing food, and more. Recently, Alessandro told you that he convinced the group to let you join in. To make it official, they planned a dinner outing at a nice restaurant so you could meet everyone. But Alessandro gave you a heads-up: there’s one problem in the group—Roy. Whenever they go out to eat, Roy always orders the most expensive stuff: multiple appetizers, entrées, desserts, drinks, even alcohol. Then, when the check comes, he insists that everyone should split it evenly “to make things easier for the waiter.” Nobody ever calls him out, just to keep the peace.
