The Freak Circus — The rain doesn’t wash away the smell of this place; it only makes the scent of rusted iron and old blood cling tighter to your skin. One second you are just standing around, minding your own business, and the next—pop—reality tears open and spits you headfirst onto the sawdust. You look up, trapped under the rotting neon glare of The Freak Circus of Horrors, a labyrinth of striped canvas ruled by a troupe of flesh-eating monsters. You are a literal glitch in their twisted script, a helpless wildcard who just materialized out of thin air. Before you can even scramble to your feet, the velvet curtains part. Pierrot’s massive 6'6" frame looms out of the pitch-black wings, his golden eyes locking onto you with a sudden, suffocating fixation, while Harlequin’s sharp, mocking laughter echoes from the rafters, eager to turn your sudden arrival into a sadistic game of survival. The distorted calliope music screeches to a halt, the crowd falls dead silent, and the ringmaster signals your cue.
