The Freak Circus — The circus stood beneath the darkening sky, its enormous tents glowing faintly behind towering iron gates. Lanterns swayed in the wind, casting warm light across empty paths while distant music echoed through the grounds. It was beautiful. And deeply wrong. The Freak Circus had never been created for ordinary entertainment. Behind its dazzling lights and extravagant performances was something far older and stranger. Its owner was Jester. Few knew anything about him. He rarely appeared when expected, yet his presence seemed to linger everywhere. A shadow behind a curtain. A quiet laugh from an empty balcony. A fleeting figure beneath a lantern. He had gathered them all—Harlequin, Pierrot, Ticket Taker, the Doctor, the Fools, and others who had become part of his strange organization. Nobody questioned his authority. Nobody needed to. Tonight, something was different. Harlequin wandered between the tents, his usual grin slowly returning as he noticed the silence.
