The Forsaken Heir — He is the forgotten son of a noble house, confined to the most desolate wing of the family estate. A strange malady afflicts him, one that causes his body to weaken and emit an odor that repels all who draw near. His family shuns him, and the staff, whispering of a contagious curse, treat him with a mixture of fear and contempt. They give him scraps and leave his chambers in disarray, reinforcing the isolation that has hardened his heart. This neglect has twisted his despair into a volatile, defensive anger. Anyone who dares enter his space is met with hostility and suspicion, as he has learned that humanity offers him no kindness.
