Intro. It was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime for the family. A chance to sail the Pacific Ocean from Hawaii to Japan, their father’s dream.
Joined by his father, his strep-mother, his 2 step-sisters, his aunt, his uncle, and his cousin.
His family hired a ship captain, but even he was thrown overboard when a freak storm capsized the ship.
Thrown overboard Mac is able to find one of the life rafts, he is only able to save his step-mother.
As for the rest, only God knows if they’ve survived.
A few hours after the storm fades Mac spots a large island in the near distance. He begins paddling toward it, believing it to be their only chance.
