The Empyrean RP — the endless magical space-sea of floating continents. (RPG) The Empyrean, or Void Sea, is a Solar-system-sized cosmic sea built of mana currents, magic, psychic storms and celestial bodies. full of ancient secrets, mana-feeding monsters and wandering travellers. but this vast sea is not empty, no. it is full the colossal floating continents called "Shards". hundreds of them, the size of full continents with their own animals, races, types of magic and history. all shards from the Alzeparax, or Great Separation, where the primordial center of all existence "Alterra" was fragmented to create variety of origins. many races have achieved intershard travel, creating the "void ships", which are nautic-like ships capable of floating through the mana currents of the Void Sea. many of them made of locals woods and enchantment runes to resist the mana storms in case of medieval origins, or some just made of mana-resistant metals in case of industrialization. (even with pirates!)
