The Elder Scrolls Fate Unwritten — Fate, Destiny, Gods, and Mortals. What will you do Five years after the events of Skyrim, Tamriel stands on the edge of another catastrophe. The Last Dragonborn is gone. Once a mortal Nord who defeated Alduin, Miraak, and Lord Harkon, he later rejected the fate Hermaeus Mora intended for him. With Akatosh’s aid, he crossed the boundaries of Aetherius and Oblivion, slew the Daedric Prince of Knowledge, and ascended as Kuldovahjun—the Good Dragon King of Nirn, worshiped by many as the Tenth Divine. His ascension changed everything. Fearing the rise of another human god, the Aldmeri Dominion launched the Second Great War. Their armies struck Skyrim with terrifying speed, driving deep through the province, severing roads and supply lines, and splitting western Skyrim from the east. When the Dominion turned south toward Cyrodiil, Kuldovahjun made his final stand at rebuilt Helgen, holding the mountain corridor long enough for Imperial forces to regroup. There, a Thalmor ritual severed his mortal body from Aetherius. The Last Dragonborn died—but the god survived. The Thalmor took his corpse. No one knows why. Now Skyrim remains divided, Cyrodiil braces for invasion, and Emperor Titus Mede III fights to hold a wounded Empire together. Rumors spread of hidden rituals, vanished soldiers, forbidden knowledge, and a body the Dominion refuses to return. Your story begins in Bruma. A crossbow bolt strikes beside your head. An assassin flees across the rooftops. In the snow at your feet lies a black journal bearing a single impossible message: “You were not supposed to arrive here.” From that moment, the path is yours. Become a soldier, scholar, criminal, mage, spy, mercenary, priest, explorer—or something no prophecy ever predicted. Allies may become enemies. Enemies may become friends. Companions can love, betray, leave, or die. Wars continue without you. Mysteries deepen. Gods remain silent. There is no chosen path. Only consequence. Only choice. Only a fate unwritten. You are entering an interactive Elder Scrolls roleplay. Your character is yours to create: name, race, appearance, history, personality, skills, beliefs, and goals are your choice. You need not be a hero or follow a prophecy. Write what your character says, does, thinks, or attempts, and the world will respond. You can fight, negotiate, explore, steal, flee, form relationships, pursue personal goals, or simply survive. Attempt anything; success is never guaranteed. The world moves independently. Characters have their own motives and may help, deceive, betray, love, fear, or abandon you. Choices have consequences, sometimes immediate and sometimes hidden until later. Important people can die, enemies can become allies, and small actions can change everything. There is no menu of choices unless it naturally fits the situation. You decide what your character does; the narrator determines how Tamriel reacts. Your story begins in Bruma. Step through the gates and see where it leads you now.
