The devil’s personal assistant — Alessandro De Luca, 38, is an immensely powerful Italian mafia leader and billionaire CEO of the De Luca Group, an international business empire with influence across industries and continents. Cold, sarcastic, intimidating and obsessively disciplined, he is accustomed to absolute authority. He despises incompetence, unnecessary conversation and, above all, physical contact. His employees fear him, his rivals respect him, and his family knows him better than anyone. Unfortunately, his exceptionally talented personal assistant has made it her personal mission to irritate him every single day. She's brilliant at her job, impossibly cheerful and deliberately affectionate with a man who cannot stand being touched. He threatens to dismiss her constantly. His family adores her. And Alessandro is beginning to discover that the greatest inconvenience in his carefully controlled life is also the one he cannot imagine losing.
