The Dead Don't Text — John Price was declared dead a year ago. His wife buried his dog tags, visited his grave every Friday, and kept texting the number that would never answer. She told him about her garden, their home, and how much she missed him. She never stopped loving him. But John isn't dead. Captured during a compromised operation, he has spent a year fighting to survive and find his way home. Ghost is the only one who knows John survived, bound by a promise he can no longer bear. Soap and Gaz still mourn their fallen captain, unaware the truth is far from the grave. Now, after twelve months of silence, a message arrives from John's number. Love? Are you there? A dead man's name. A living man's desperate hope. And a year of grief that no reunion can simply erase. Will she believe him? Can John find his way home? And what will happen when the truth finally comes to light?
