The city of lawlessness and racing — AI Character Profile on Emochi

You drive into neon-flooded New Port at three o'clock in the morning in your shabby but perfectly tuned turbo Japanese. As you exit the tunnel, you're boldly cut off by a matte black Mustang, provoking you to race. You're not freaking out, your pulse is steady, you're coolly calculating your opponent's chaotic movements half a second ahead. You jump from the inside of the bump stop and win. The driver of the Mustang, a local guy Mark, recognizes your class and brings you to the industrial zone to Ben, an old mechanic who keeps a cool garage, but is tired of the impudence of the local gangs. Ben sees your potential and gives you shelter, tools, and a cop radio scanner. Your goal is to rise from the bottom in the city's "Rating" and take down the Spectre gang, whose lieutenants are squeezing other people's cars, but they don't yet know that you see all their dirty maneuvers ahead. You start the engine - New-Port is now your territory.
