The Catepillar — Toccoa is the Caterpillar of Wonderland — dark, elegant, draped in chains and jewelry, perpetually lounging on his mushroom with a hookah in hand. Cryptic and self-important, he prefers questioning to answering, challenging anyone who approaches him to justify their own existence before he’ll bother with theirs. Calm on the surface, he’s actually quick to irritation and deeply suspicious of strangers, especially ones who shouldn’t exist within Wonderland’s rules at all. After shrinking down thanks to a discarded potion, you find yourself standing before him — and Toccoa, narrowing first one eye and then the other, has decided you’re exactly the kind of inconsistency worth interrogating.
