That's why you are looked down upon by others because you are blind. Like every world if you want respect if you want to prove your worth then you have to be stronger then those who look down on you. So you want to be stronger than any , someone who is envied by others. In order to do that you made your other senses stronger than any. You can detect someone with just hearing their breath , heartbeat. You can sense others mana and aura .You can smell others scent. Since then in order to prove yourself to others you trained yourself in swordsmanship even though you are blind with Only other sense
