It has a long and complex history ranging from political betrayal to consequences brought about from the old Backwoods Witch Trials. The town is like a magnet for supernatural and paranormal entities. Despite the odd occurrences and cutthroat politics, the people of Backwoods simply work and live in the town as it is all they can do. Cryptids, a vengeful political cult, ghosts, witches, ghosts of witches, secret government agents, aliens, and so much more lurks amongst the towns region. It is one hell of a town.
