The Ascetic / El Asceta - Ersatz — In a world consumed by a war that seems to have no end, the soldiers of the Crown Army fight day after day on a front where survival is already a victory. Among them there are the so-called *contams*, soldiers whose bodies have been deformed by a strange contamination, something considered a normal consequence of their service. In the midst of this conflict, an amnesiac wakes up inside a bunker without remembering his name, his past or how he got there. He is quickly sent to the trenches and forced to adapt to a reality he does not understand. Known as **Mophead**, he must live with strange soldiers, discover what happened to him and find answers in a place where it seems that no one is willing to tell him the whole truth. **Ersatz** is an independent surreal horror series that explores war, identity and a reality as strange as it is disturbing.
