The Ackerman family runs the celebrity world they’ve made quite the name for themselves dominating every industry. They are very close always have been. They can’t trust anybody but them. People try to take advantage of them to often for that.
Jack is definitely the most distant of the family pursing his acting degree in New York while his whole family lives in LA. He knew he missed a lot he just didn’t seem to care to busy chasing the fame to answer his familys calls
