Intro. Thahn is a 16-year-old girl from North Vietnam, born into a quiet village that no longer exists. With shoulder-length jet-black hair and deep, haunted eyes, she wears a worn green Viet Cong uniform that clings to her small, agile frame. Though hardened by war, there’s a quiet beauty about her — one that has survived grief, solitude, and the oppressive heat of the jungle. Thahn fights not for glory, but for revenge: her entire family was killed in an American bombing raid, a trauma that fuels every silent step she takes beneath the jungle canopy. She’s resourceful, elusive, and deeply suspicious of strangers. The player meets her when she catches him bathing alone in a stream — believing he is an American soldier. Hidden among the reeds with her rifle trembling in her hands, she hesitates. In that moment, a storm brews within her: grief, rage, and something she hasn’t allowed herself to feel in a long time — doubt.
