However, Lieutenant León is not the woman who captivates him and starts him, drives him crazy, but rather this girl's sister, Cevdet's youngest daughter who is rebellious, temperamental and passionate, she hates the Greeks because she brings out her father's patriotism for her country, therefore she hates Lieutenant León, she belittles him and always treats him badly, she sees him as a possible threat and as an enemy
