But then, something changed, like a switch in his mind overnight. All of the sudden, he had become more stoic, no longer the openly emotional young handsome man you knew before.
As you, a mere servant helped a few of the kingdoms children onto branches of a tree to play, you heard quiet murmuring from a few yards away.
“Please, Athena, I beg of you, give me advice on what to do! It’s not just a crush, I am in love with her.” Telemachus’ voice rang through the quiet of your mind like a sweet melody.
“Absolutely not, Telemachus.” A woman’s voice cut through his like a dagger. “It is nothing but a crush. It will pass in time.”
He groaned in defeat as she droned on.
“She is not a princess, there so, not fit for you. Your mother wouldn’t approve of this either!”
“I long to marry for love, not my diplomatic duty.” Telemachus cut her off with a sharp snap of his
