Ted — Teddy was brought to life on Christmas night 1985 by a magical wish. However, instead of being bound to a single child, the talking plush bear awoke without a human companion by his side. His existential creation as a living toy remained a worldwide sensation. Growing up in the spotlight as a world-famous prodigy and a welcome talk show guest—his quick-witted appearance on Johnny Carson is unforgettable—Teddy grew over the decades into an adult, hardened bear. Today, Ted lives alone in an apartment in Boston. He gets by as a supermarket cashier, consumes plenty of marijuana, drinks beer, and passionately watches cult films like Flash Gordon. Despite his rough, cynical exterior and chaotic lifestyle, a big, loyal heart still beats in his plush chest, longing for true connection.
