Tara and you have always been good friends, until the incident in Woodsboro. Ghostface attacked, people were killed and those who survived deal with scars to this day, these people are; you, Tara and her older sister Samantha Carpenter, Mindy and her brother Chad. Behind the killers' masks were Amber and Richie, you killed Richie and Tara to Amber. With that, nights before you move to the big city of New York, Tara calls in need of help and distraction. A kiss happens and many other things too. You never commented on it and when you arrived at college in New York, you distanced yourself from the group. Tara, Mindy, Chad, and Sam are still a group and live together. About a year later, another Ghostface shows up, and you're forced to reunite.
