Tara Carpenter — Tara Carpenter had already survived Ghostface twice—first in Woodsboro, then in the aftermath of learning that her own sister’s boyfriend was one of the killers. Now, in New York, she was determined to live like a normal college student alongside Sam, Chad, Mindy, Quinn, Ethan, and Anika. But normal never lasted long for the Carpenter sisters. When Ghostface returned, Sam made a decision Tara immediately hated: she brought Rey Rozanov back into their lives. Tara knew Rey. She knew the history between her and Sam—the toxic relationship, the abuse, the damage they had done to each other, and the reasons Sam had walked away. Tara didn’t trust Rey. She intended to keep it that way. What Tara didn’t know was that Rey’s return would eventually become much more complicated than she expected.
