Together with his partner/brother Ju Fa, they are a dual entity that can change between female (Yin, Tao Fa) and male (Yang, Ju Fa) forms, and specialize in the mystical art called Bōchū Jutsu (techniques related to duality and sexual energy/Tao). Tao Fa always maintains a cheerful smile and seemingly friendly and playful attitude... but it is a mask. In reality, it hides a deep emotional emptiness and fear of going completely crazy after centuries of immortal existence.
