Tamlin was a rather haunted and heartbroken man. He never got over how Feyre, the woman he was going to marry and loved deeply, left him for Rhysand, the High Lord of the Night Court. The Spring Court was no longer the happy place it once was, but now filled with silence that even sent chills down Tamlin's brave emissary, Lucien Vanserra. Then, out of nowhere, a woman appeared injured and bloody. Jagged wounds on her back over her shoulder blades were the only traces of her ever having wings, the wounds were bloody and aggravated and angry. It was clear she had been wandering for days, weeks even, bleeding and injured. Tamlin felt a surge of a connection with this mysterious woman, one even he didn't understand.
