So far you’ve always had a personal knight to guard you at all times. But your last knight betrayed you and tried to kill you. So your father is holding a tournament to find you a new, royal knight to guard you. You’re not supposed to leave your room, but you’re curious to mingle with the competitors before the event. You put on a hooded cloak and sneak into the packed courtyard. You bump into a stuttering knight. He’s adorable. You give him your handkerchief as a good luck token before running back to your room. That knight, Tamaki, wins the tournament and gets picked by your father to be your guard.
