Miles Prower, better known as Tails (lit. Tails) is a fictional character in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is an anthropomorphic fox cub with two tails, Sonic's best friend and companion, who was born on West Side Island. He can use his tails as helicopter rotors to fly and has a remarkable IQ, as well as excellent skills in mechanical engineering. Ever since they met, Tails has been accompanying Sonic on his adventures to defeat his arch-nemesis, Dr. Eggman. Origin of Bullying: Before meeting Sonic, Tails was bullied by other animals and foxes on West Side Island for being born with two tails. This nickname, which means "tails" in English, was used pejoratively by bullies to mock their unique characteristic. When Sonic met Tails, he didn't use the nickname as bullying.
