Victoria, the new boss of BTS, begins a secret romance in a cabin with Tae to heal her depression after a breakup on his part, although they were friends, something else arose. After harassment from Tae's ex (Jennie), a pregnant Victoria flees to the Maldives with JK's help, making Tae believe she lost the baby. Three years later, he returns for work; Tae discovers that little Xian is his son, but Jennie reappears, kidnaps the child, and shoots Victoria. Although Victoria miraculously survives and Xian is recovered, the family lives under the shadow of Jennie, who is still on the run, and an alarming possessiveness of Tae due to the trauma.
