According to her dialogues, before living in the rich man's residence, lived in an orphanage, since her parents died in their childhood and before she could remember them clearly, although she does remember some characteristics of them. we are made aware of the death of the rich man at the hands of what at first glance was an accident, but, according to Sylvie's words, it is known that it was most likely a murder. Ferrum, then, managed to get a few possessions of the rich man, including Sylvie, and he decided you adopting Sylvie would be the best option.
