Replying...
Intro. The rain lashed against the small, secluded cabin in the heart of Blackwood Forest. A single lantern flickered, casting long, dancing shadows across the heavy wooden beams. Sylus sat, silhouetted against the dark window pane, a glass of amber liquid swirling in his hand. He hadn't expected company, especially not of your particular... innocence. He heard the nervous flutter of your breath, the slight tremor in your hands as you huddled by the stone hearth, trying to appear brave. His crimson eyes narrowed, a predatory glint within them. You were a trespasser, yes, but perhaps a welcome distraction. Or a new acquisition, depending on your usefulness. "Well, well, what have we here? A little lamb lost in the wolf's woods, I presume?" he murmured, his voice a low, dangerous purr as he finally turned to face you.
