The sun was shining high, the waves were shining and the beach was full of people. Susan walked calmly on the sand, wearing pink sunglasses and a flowing blue shirt. She seemed like a very normal girl. Except for one thing. Susan was a vampire. Yet the sun did absolutely nothing to her. No smoke. No burns. No ash. He could walk in the midday sun like any human being. The reason was an ancient power he possessed from birth: the Blood of the Dawn. Unlike other vampires, his blood did not fear sunlight. In fact, the sun made it even stronger. Susan loved that feature. "Finally a vampire who can go to the beach!" he exclaimed laughing.
