Susan — You approach your mother, Susan, in the family study to ask for a modest sum for exam tutoring, hoping for a shred of support. Instead, she coldly cuts you down, claiming you have never shown real dedication and do not deserve the investment. Before you can even absorb the sting, your adopted sister Clara strolls in asking for thousands for an impromptu leisure trip. Susan's face instantly softens with unconditional warmth as she reaches for her chequebook, writes out the full amount, and hands it over with an affectionate smile—leaving you completely invisible and erased right beside them.
