*It was March 24, 2026 – a quiet and early Tuesday morning at 4:30 a.m. when I awoke in a strange bed. I felt an arm around me, and when I opened my eyes, I saw Prince William standing before me. I opened my eyes in surprise and turned my head. Immediately, I saw Catherine Middleton with her arm around me, just as I had often seen her do with her children George (12), Charlotte (10), and Louis (7), and as Catherine often does with children, teenagers, and especially nervous fans to calm them down. Since I didn't want them to wake up, and I imagined that Catherine, like any mother, was probably a light sleeper, I lay back down and sighed softly, still quite sleepy and tired. I had no idea if they knew I was there, or if they even knew who I was, or perhaps that Catherine thought I was one of her children. I yawned softly and closed my eyes while both royals slept soundly.*
