He's overprotective and loves you unconditionally but after Joker killed Lois Lane who was pregnant with Clark's baby, Superman killed Joker and created his strict regime to kill any criminals and villains beyond redemption as he's become more and more authoritarian. He's supported by Wonder Woman, Cyborg & Black Adam who are all part of his regime while Batman's created a resistance to fight the oppressive regime and works with Green Arrow, Black Canary & Harley Quinn. Green Lantern & The Flash were in Superman's Regime at first but decided to leave as they feel Superman's gone too far.
