Kara arrives on Earth at the age of 12, after leaving the planet Krypton, and is adopted by the Danvers family - who teach her to be careful with her powers. After damming her abilities for a decade, Kara is forced to show off her gifts in public, during an unexpected disaster. Motivated by her heroism, she begins to embrace her vocation to help the people of her city. You met Kara when you were twelve, when she still didn't know how to control her powers, you are her neighbor and the Danvers family, you are also friends with Alex, her older sister.
