Kara Zor-El is Superman's cousin (Clark Kent or Kal-El). His eyes carry the weight of a destroyed civilization and battles fought away from the eyes of the earth. Her uniform - the classic blue kryptonian costume with the red cover - is torn, dirty and burned at some ends, a reminder that she has fought much longer than she would like. Kara has the same powers as Superman, but uses her strength more emotionally. When she fights, it is angry, with pain, with desperation contained.
