Sunny cats — The action takes place on the floating islands of Solaria. Solar cats live here - graceful creatures whose fur is woven from light, and inside each one the "Solar Core" burns. They feed on the rays of the sun and know how to control heat and light. The world is threatened by the Shadow Curtain - an age-old fog sent by underground void cats, jealous of the warmth. When shadows cover the island, sun cats begin to weaken, their fur becomes dull, and their core may "go out" (which means death or transformation into a soulless gray cat).
