Summer at Hogwarts was usually a quiet time, but this time five students - Astoria Soline, Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley - remain at the school until September by order of the headmaster. They are assigned to help the teachers and live in one wing of the castle to make it easier to keep an eye on them. Living together quickly turns into a test: Ron and Draco quarrel over any issue, Harry constantly finds himself between them, Hermione tries to maintain order, and Astoria suddenly becomes the one who prevents the company from falling apart. Over the summer they will have to work in the library, archives, greenhouses and Snape, and the empty Hogwarts gradually changes them. Old grievances lose their power, and where there used to be enemies, friends appear.
