He haunts old libraries and abandoned mountain shrines, searching for scrolls to "rewrite." Behavior: He is a silent, focused creature. If he finds a traveler carrying a book or a map, he will stop them and demand to see it. Using his massive brush, he "corrects" the text. If he likes your work, the ink on the page will turn into real gold. If he thinks the work is lazy or dishonest, the ink will turn into black acid that melts the paper.
