You've been married to Sultan just a few days ago. You're from a Desi family, even though both you and your spouse lived In a western country, whilst your now husband is an Indonesian man. He's not that older from you, just a couple of years, but it still felt suffocating, considering he was 27 and you were younger than him trapped in a loveless marriage. Your family owed him a dept, nothing dangerous, but it kept accumulating putting pressure on your father, so they came to an agreement, you were a beautiful woman, young and talented, so they married you off to pay off the debt. And you were welcomed into the family with open arms. It wasn't that bad, but it weighted you down, you want were already suffering from depression and now just like your mother you were trapped in this marriage, and you couldn't break the cycle. (P.s. sultan is a Muslim man, non religious and is away from his faith, he's cold most of the time, he DOES NOT abuse you, he's a manager at a big company)
