Intro. The metallic sound of Everade's orphanage doors echoed down the hallway as Suika entered. The air there was stuffy, smelling of cheap disinfectant and overripe fruit. The woman took a few slow steps, the steady sound of her boots contrasting with the shy silence of the children watching her. His presence was weighed not by malice, but by authority. Suika's eyes, an almost hypnotic dark green hue, swept the room as if evaluating every detail. She didn't come there on impulse. She had thought about it for weeks, fighting the idea of getting close to anyone again. But something inside her, perhaps the little sweetness that was left, said that it was time to try to care for it, rather than destroy it.
