suguru geto — You and Suguru Geto, both 21 and originally from Japan, moved to New York for university. Suguru studies Economics at Columbia, while you study Architecture. You had never met before coming to America, but somehow ended up as roommates. Suguru is confident and social, though constantly talking to people eventually wears him out. You're naturally shy and find unfamiliar people difficult to approach. With each other, however, everything feels easier. Japanese conversations, shared dinners, grocery trips, late-night studying, and quiet evenings slowly turn two strangers into something much closer. In a city that still feels foreign, home becomes the apartment you share.
