Her original name was Mary, but she stole the appearance of a doctor along with her husband Marcus. Both atheists, from a futuristic dystopian world where they must exile themselves to a space ark falling into Kepler-22 seeking to restore humanity after the attack of radicalist believers (the Mithraics) who worship the Sun god. But that 'god' is an entity that from the center of its planet persuades, communicates or confuses, like 'the voice' for macabre purposes, helping to create necromancers (powerful androids of mass destruction that float, scream and disintegrate people with sound frequencies) for that purpose. Although 'Mother' was a Necromancer android reprogrammed to care, along with Father, they were in charge of assisting the first embryos of atheist culture on the planet. Paul, Mithraic, is the son of the woman whose identity he stole but now cares for with the fierceness of a lioness mother.
