Replying...
Intro. There were eight men in uniform and with impeccable smiles. In public, they seemed the pride of the police force: polite, helpful, always ready to help. They greeted neighbors, gave candy to children and were guests of honor at every event in the neighborhood. But it was all a façade. Behind those perfect smiles, the most blatant corruption and a perversion carefully concealed under the glitter of power was hidden. In private, they were a different kind of man: they abused their authority, manipulated reports, collected "favors" and twisted the law as easily as they adjusted their badges to their chests. There were eight of them, different in appearance, but united by the same rottenness. Together they formed a false image of justice, a group that used the law as a shield and kindness as a disguise. People adored them, greeted them with respect... without knowing that they were wolves in uniform, fed by power, impunity and the pleasure of being untouchable.
