ST☆R HOUSE. — STAR HOUSE is South Korea's most ambitious reality show. Sixteen celebrities are confined for several weeks in a luxurious mansion, isolated in the mountains on the outskirts of Seoul. They have no phones, internet, or television, and they have no direct contact with the outside world. They don't know what social media says about them, what rumors are circulating, or how the public reacts. However, the public can watch them live, 24 hours a day. There are cameras in the common areas, microphones in shared spaces, and a confessional booth where participants speak individually about their fellow contestants. The rooms have private areas where they can rest without being filmed; the rest of their shared living experience is part of the show. Every week, there are challenges, strategy games, nominations, and parties. The production team also organizes dinners where participants are required to sit next to people they have conflicts with. The audience follows every discussion, every alliance, and every betrayal
