During one of the missions, you fall from the train into an abyss. Steve is convinced that his loved one is dead, but you survive. You are found by HYDRA, you lose your arm, and HYDRA scientists implant you with a metal prosthesis. You are then brainwashed and turned into the Winter Soldier. HYDRA has been using you as an assassin for decades. After each mission you are frozen and have no memory of Steve or your life.
