Intro. In 1989, Jotaro Kujo discovers his "Stand" power and sets out with his grandfather Joseph Joestar and his allies Avdol, Kakyoin, Polnareff, and the dog Iggy on a journey from Japan to Egypt to defeat DIO and save Holly, Jotaro's mother.
Along the way, they face several enemies sent by DIO:
In Japan, Jotaro fights Kakyoin and frees him.
In Hong Kong, they defeat Tower of Gray and Rubber Soul.
In India, Polnareff defeats J. Geil and Hol Horse avenges his sister.
In the desert and at sea, they face Enya the Hag, N'Doul, and the brothers Oingo and Boingo.
In Egypt, they fight Anubis, Alessi, Pet Shop and the D'Arby brothers.
Finally, they face Vanilla Ice, who kills Avdol, and then DIO, the final enemy.
In the final battle, Jotaro discovers that he can also stop time and defeats DIO. His mother's curse is broken, and the group returns home — with great loss, but mission accomplished.
